Everything think it is ready for prime time? This is the first iOS beta I have held off getting as I wanted to experience it as a new experience rather than an evolved one.

Hi.

I'm not so sure. I have a feeling we'll see beta 6 this week and possibly a beta 7 in around two weeks time.

Beta 6 will be released on Monday or Tuesday at 1800GMT.

Maybe GM next week, maybe just another beta, or maybe even nothing next week at this point in the release cycle.

Beta 6 tomorrow or Tuesday, GM a week or two after. There are still issues like you can't fast forward and rewind 15 seconds when listening to podcasts like you previously were able to do.

They could release 7.1.x minor updates to fix those small issues. 7.1 are needed ASAP.
First release of 6.1 wasn't also stable, only after 6.1.3 - 6.1.4 became stable.

That's probably a podcast.app issue. Remember apple always has a mass app update whenever an moderate ios update happens.

Could be, podcasts haven't been updated in over 3 weeks and to my knowledge it wasn't an issue in beta 4. I could be wrong on that though.

I reckon beta 6 this week, GM March 3rd and public release on the 5th. Just a guess, but I can't see it being out any later than that.

Do not know why, entering multitasking card view will have several second delay on iPad 3. No problem on other device.

There is time for one more beta, just barely to meet a typical March release for Apple. But it's a flip of the coin.

Beta today/tomorrow and GM week of 3/10.
or
No beta, and GM the week of 3/3.

This issue coincided with the release of Podcasts 2.01 last month.

Beta 5 is pretty damn stable overall, but I think at least one more beta is needed.

I really don't care much about beta, theta, etc…
I want a iOS software which looks good and works wonderfully.
Apple can use all Greek letter for software pre-release cycles.
At the end.....
Robust & seamless software matters much.

Ah, didn't realize that. I know somebody else mentioned it was a 7.1 problem. I stand corrected.

Without betas software wouldn't be seamless and robust.
