Since the latest update...7.1

The text / iMessage screen seems to have the proximity sensor active, if I wave my finger near the top of the phone the screen blanks. (iPhone 5) .

Anyone else seeing this?

Does that happen elsewhere too? If so, do you have Raise to Speak enabled in Siri settings? That could possibly explain such behaviour.

And no, that doesn't happen on my 5. Raise to speak is disabled for Siri.

Same exact problem here. Only in imessage.

I am having proximity sensor problems as well. Mine aren't related to texts thoug. When I make a call the screen isn't turning off, I have to keep readjusting the phone a few times before it goes off.

5S on 7.1

the bug went away the same day I found it. I didn't do a thing to resolve it, not even a restart. I looked thru other apps and only had it within imessage.
