Hey all,

I updated to iOS 8.4 and jailbroke and was wanting to know how I could go about theming the new Music.app icon to the "old" iOS 7-8.3 style. I have winterboard downloaded and a few .png files of the icon, but I don't know how to approach it after that. I haven't been into theming my devices since iOS 4.

Also, I'd like to do the same thing with the Music.app icon in the system settings menu.

Thanks in advance!

use ifile or ifunbox. go in and find the applications folder. find the png files for the ios 8.4 music app icons, and rename them with something simple like "oldmusic.png" or something similar. then paste in the old music icon named correctly the same as the 8.4 ones were origionally named. once thats done, install iconbundles. respring/reboot and make sure to clear icon cache.

Thanks for this! I was able to change the springboard icon, but I haven't been able to get the Music icon within settings to changes. I went through with iFile and replaced /Applications/Preferences/Music.png with an icon the same dimensions but it was not changed after I ran iCleaner and respringed.

Does anyone have any idea of how to change the icon withing Settings.app?

My understanding is that the icon within the settings app is taken from the .car file(s) [not even sure if it's correct here because I once tried replacing all the icons inside the .app's folder to not avail]

It may have changed now, but the only way I remembered I could change the icon was through winterboard

I don't remember the file name though, sorry. But I installed a free theme that modified the icon inside the settings app and that's how I found the name
