I'm trying to restore from backup and i put in my iCloud Apple ID, then it gives me the option to choose a backup, and the next screen asks for a password to my App Store apple ID.
PROBLEM: the address it pops up that I can't edit is different than my actual App Store ID, it's a really old email address that I no longer use and is not associated with my apple ID. I can't figure out any way to change it.
Any ideas?

check https://appleid.apple.com and see if the old email is listed there.
