Hey guys, just now i opened up my camera on my 4s to take a picture and noticed that there is the photo filters icon, apple said they were gonna only have that on the iphone 5.

Apple probably realized that the 4S can handle it since it shares the exact same SOC as the 5th Generation iPod Touch.

It'd be frustrating for them to put it in the Beta, prove it works and then take it away . . .
Oh, I didn't even notice this was supposed to only be an iPhone 5 feature. A welcomed surprise when I opened my Camera app. Definitely hope it stays.
Yeah, and the 5th gen ipod touch also, as you can see here http://i.imgur.com/xvfkAzI.jpg, they didnt have it for the 4s originally
They removed the ability to zoom when recording videos. But added these instead. Compromise maybe?
That would be kinda weird because you cant use video and the filters at the same time. rather have the filters then zoom though.
At least they retained these in the GM.
From the early notes I read, there was some debate about whether this would only be included for the 5 onward.
