I am currently on Beta 3 as a non developer and when I go into settings it doesn't allow me to update anymore, it just says 'your software is up to date.' i've read on here that once the new beta (5) comes out, the previous one (4) is not pushed out anymore. So from here, can i just download 4 and press update on iTunes? Or do I have to do a restore of some sort. I'm trying to keep the data I have.

TL;DR stuck on beta 3, non developer, tryna upgrade to beta 5 without losing any data.

Thanks!

I posted something similar to that, yes you have to download beta 4 manually, you're locked out of OTA updates until you're 1 version behind. Don't know why you're on beta 3 anyway lol

i kept forgetting to do the OTA since it requires like 1gb of space, and my phone is pretty full all the time. so after i download beta 4, do i just do the same alt-option update?

you can do OTA once you're on beta 4 or you can just download beta 5 right now and jump straight to it.
