iOS 7 calendar icon ---

Is it centered or not...I haven't had the time to load this up in Photoshop and check it out. It looks more centered than iOS 6's calendar icon.

Gizmodo has been harping about this for years now and it looks like iOS7 will still not satisfy them.

What do you mean by "centered"? Are you referring to the number centered within the icon box?

Yeah.

It actually is not centered... 5 pixels to the left of center and 3 to the right of center. So the number needs to move on pixel to the right.

Gizmodo has been harping about this for years now and it looks like iOS7 will still not satisfy them.

I personally think Apple should continue to keep the 1 geometrically-centred instead of optically-centred just to piss off Jesus Diaz at Gizmodo.

Just looked at ios 6 omg I see it now! I hate you all. Making me get OCD about the position of the number on my calendar icon...

I've seen Gizmodo rant about iOS 6's calendar icon, and I've never understood. For the life of me I don't notice that it is off center. I don't think many people do. Whoever wrote that article seems VERY anal, and petty as well.

With that said, I like the new iOS 7 calendar icon a lot... as long as you don't use a white/almost white background on your phone, then it just sort of disappears.
