Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone can suggest a calendar that's similar in interface to iOS 6, but free. In the mean time I need a solution as the iOS 7 one doesn't work too well for me. The calendar must have iCloud sync across devices as I use my iPad for clients and phone for personal use.

GOOD QUESTION! iOS7's calendar doesn't work for me either!
Waiting to see what good answers you get.
GOOD LUCK!

I've been using Week Agenda. It's different than the ios6 calendar since it's designed like a paper agenda rather than a calendar. You have either week or day view (no month view) but it's free and uses your icloud calendars.

The free version of Calendars doesn't have natural language input and no reminders.

Event Book is also a great solution: https://itunes.apple.com/nl/app/event-book/id599232745?l=en&mt=8

There's also Cal (from Any.do reminders replacement) and Sunrise.

I know you asked for free, but I'll also have to voice my love of Calendar 5 by readdle, for me it's a perfect calendar app.

Unfortunately Fantastical isn't available for iPad. Makes the best iOS 6 replacement plus Mac integration.

I looked up Tempo, Sunrise and others and it seems the only one that integrates with stock calendar on iOS is Calendar and Calendar 5. Anyone else who has one of the others have an idea if they all do that?

What do you mean by integrating with stock calendar? Most if not all of those support iCloud calendar.

Calendars by Readdle. Monthly view WITH event names inside the grid view.
If the monthly grid view is not important to you, I find Sunrise to be a joy to use. Little touches like weather with your future events, social network links with your friends' birthdays, etc.

Also sync to OSX?

What about one that also able to sync to a calendar app on OSX?

My problem is that I use Lotus Notes at work and at home I use Google calendar. I like to keep work and home separate. Width the stock calendar on iOS 7 I can see both but I don't like the layout so I use Calenders+ app but my calendar app in my macbook pro only sees Google calendar.

Thanks.

I mean does it take all my existing events on my calendar and add them to my calendar within my app.
If your existing events are part of an iCloud calendar or Google calendar or something like that then you just add that calendar to be displayed in the app you choose and use it there.
