Don't know why Apple went and did this but when sending text to a non-apple device (via SMS), the text displayed is "white" in colour!!

Under iOS 6 it sent it in green coloured bubbles with black text. Now under iOS 7 (The bubbles are still green... but,) the text for some reason is white. I work in an environment that is riddled with fluorescent lights and it is near impossible to read the stupid white text!
WTF?

Making the text bolder and larger helps a little, but seriously, is there a way to make the text black like before? If it ain't broke.. don't fix it!

That's just how it is now and there's no way to change it. At least incoming messages are still black.
