iOS 7 & Meta Data

Is there a standard that includes that?
I mean even if Apple enabled it -- would a current generation bluetooth player be able to support it?

Yes there is a stadard, Apple has not enabled it on iOS as of yet. All other smart phones support meteadata when streaming music via bluetooth
