Seems to of jut fixed itself!

I have loads of ringtones synced to my iPhone, and loads that i've bought...
But none of them at all are showing in the ringtone section on my sounds settings...

I HATE the default apple tones.. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I'm not a dev, so I've not experienced the iOS 7 betas yet. But I'll sound a hearty "AMEN, BROTHER!" to hating the default Apple ringtones! Talk about kitschy, tacky, audio-skeumorphism! Since they're working to make the visuals classy finally, let's make the sounds match for the love of God!

Yep, mine are not showing up nor will sync. I assume this will get fixed. All my "non apple" ones that is........

Try a uncheck , sync, disconnect and then check, sync, disconnect

I got mine to show up by adding the files to the iTunes Ringtones folder.

This is one of the few things I truly despise about the Apple ecosystem. There is a plethora of apps with great tones and alerts but you can't get them on your phone unless you connect to iTunes.

It's neither, really.

The problem arises when I'm away from home and decide I want to find (or create) a new text tone and I can't actually use it until I get home and plug into my computer.

LOVE the Apple default tones! Absolutely HATE music/movie tones!

Absolutely NOT TRUE! I've created dozens of tones with apps and not had to use iTunes to use them.
