iOS 7 Safari Address Bar Keyboard Issue iPhone 5s

Anytime I use the address/search bar in Safari on my iPhone and I use a number then hit the space bar, the keyboard doesn't change back to the alphabet keyboard. I tried an iPad Air and the keyboard would change back but not on 2 iPhones I have tried. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Seems the same way on iPhone 5. Perhaps it's not designed that way there in particular for some reason, or perhaps it's a bug of some sort.
