ios 7 safari status bar dissapears ? the reappears ?

Hello,

the status bar along the bottom disappears once you've moved the page down, I understand this...

but

how do you get it back ? do actually have to scroll rite to the very top of the page again just so you can open a bookmark ?

I have been fiddling, and sometimes it disappears, sometimes it doesn't? sometime it reappears on its own without my travelling to the top of the page ?

just tap once on the bottom of the screen to get it to appear. although you want to make sure what you're going to tap on isn't a link otherwise the link will open instead

You can also scroll up slightly, it seems that when the inertia is triggered in that direction, it will reappear.
