Ios 7 to ios 6 help!

Hello everyone I need help getting back to ios 6 ON MY IPAD 2, THE ERROR I GET IS "this device isn't eligible for the request build". People say you drag hosts file out of /private- etc- and select hosts. Then remove apple.com at the bottom BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT I DONT HAVE ONE HOSTS LIKE

You cannot restore an iPad 2 to any other firmware but what Apple is signing.

True. Its just unfortunate they quit signing older firmware. Some older devices run better with their original firmware.

simple. they want users to buy new products... if they allowed us to run any iOS version we wanted to, there wouldn't have been many 5s's or iPad airs sold.

I would say it's rather quite questionale if that would have really been the case because of that.
