Need to delete or do a factory restore to my iPhone 5 with ios 7.

Water damaged phone - so screen is black but iPhone is powered up and visible in iTunes. Tried to restore connected to iTunes but it says that I first need to turn off "Find my iPhone".

How can I do that with no screen? How else can I restore the phone ... need to do that so I can sell the iPhone.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You are going to sale an iphone that has water damage to someone?!

No, I think he wants to bring it in to apple to get it replaced. Running beta software voids the warranty, so it needs to be restored.

OP, try this:
1. Download the IPSW you want to restore to.

2. Put the iPhone in DFU mode (hold the sleep wake button and home button until the phone restarts, then let go of the sleep wake button and continue holding the home button until iTunes says it's in recovery mode).

3. Hold down option and click restore, then select the IPSW you downloaded.

4. After it's done restoring, enter your apple ID and password in iTunes to activate it.

That should do it. Good luck.
