Last night I managed to update to iOS 8 via OTA on my 5S before the severs got hammered, upto now everything seem good only one little problem i've found upto now is in the stock wallpapers when scrolling down it lags slightly, other than it been fine for me at least while others have been reporting battery drain ect.

It seems most of the problems are coming from those with an iPad, it's obvious there are a few bugs in iOS8 that need sorting urgently so when do you reckon we see the 8.0.1 update as it can't really be all that far away now can it.

Given the number of things that have been dropped from the initial release (iCloud Photo, 3rd party health kit support etc.), I would expect an update towards the end of the month.

Yep. Yesterday, Apple spokesperson Trudy Muller said: “We’re working quickly to have the (Healthkit) bug fixed in a software update and have HealthKit apps available by the end of the month.”
