iOS 8.0.2 bricked iPad4 -- now DFU

Upgraded iPad Gen 4 to 8.0, and battery was going down like a drunken sailor. Today, i decided to jump on the 8.0.2 bandwagon.

Install OTA stayed on Verifying Update forever. Then iPad booted on the Apple Logo. And that was it. Could not power down, reboot or anything.

Had to initiate a DFU. What a good waste of 3 hours now ...
