ios 8.0.2 safari scrolling speed is painfully slow

I have a plus on 8.0.2. The scrolling speed in safari is painfully slow. Is there a way to make it faster? Is this fixed in the 8.1 beta?

Never mind. I'm used to chrome and it scrolls insanely fast. I forgot that safari isn't chrome

Chrome is way faster than Safari. I hope Apple speeds it up in iOS 8.1 or to the back app page the icon goes!
