With that said, I'm pretty sure that 8.1.1 is not ready for primetime yet.

ah dang it, I searched and didn't find anything and nothing on the first page or must have missed it. Updates are coming quick with iOS 8 as of late..so I wouldn't be surprised of 8.1.1 comes quickly.

Dont be to surprised the betas always seem to move quick in the first few beta versions.

Get ready guys.
Seems like 8.1.1 will be knocking on our door very soon.
Do your restores and jb soon or restore your jailbreaks if you're having problems.

Apple has stopped signing iOS 8.1.1 beta 1 without releasing beta 2, hinting that a public iOS 8.1.1 release is imminent. Once iOS 8.1.1 is released, users will no longer be able to restore to iOS 8.1 and perform a jailbreak on their device since iOS 8.1.1 patches the Pangu 8 jailbreak.

A reddit user, claiming to be an Apple associate, said that his team was briefed on a public iOS 8.1.1 sometime this week.

Sounds like next Monday or Tuesday. Not worth losing the jailbreak for 8.1.1

finally pulled the trigger and went to 8.1 from 7.1.2 on my iPhone 4S.

It's a bit slower/jumpy/laggy, but I can live with it, as we are looking at getting the 6 and 6+ in the next few weeks. Most of my apps are already updated for it (MyWi, f.lux, OpenSSH, OpenSSL), so I'm okay. Yahoo!WeatherIsBetter just crashed SpringBoard, so that one still needs to be updated. I don't know if it will, though.. :(

This is killing me. Love the JB on my iPhone 6 (both). I really want my iPad Retina to go to 8.1, but I can't pull the trigger given TiVo app detects the jailbreak and I can't lose xCon until there is an alternative, plus until I can shrink icons in iOS 8 (be it Shrink or another option like Bigify), I can't take the plunge. Looks like iPad will be on 7.x for a while.

I hear you.
Those are tough not to have especially the tivo app.
But I went for it and Im keeping the faith that we will see something available soon. Either xcon or tsprotector updates soon. Im sure we're not the only ones with jb detection appstore app problems:D

Just got email from at&t that my iPhone 6+ has been shipped yesterday. Hope it runs iOS8.1 or by the time i'll receive it Apple will still run iOS8.1, so i can upgrade in case if phone runs 8.0.x. Keeping fingers crossed.
