I have two issues using Safari with my iPad Air with iOS 8.1.1 installed:
-with reduced transparancy the keyboard does no longer indicate pressed buttons
-when switching between tabs it sometimes takes several seconds to display the tab again and at other times the tab always stays empty aka white and i have to reload it...

Are these issues known?
I already had them with 8.1 and thought they would be fixed with 8.1.1 :(

The tab reload issue is known and still happens with certain websites and depending how many tabs you have open. Not sure on the other one.

2nd issue is DRAM deficiency and can be alleviated if you upgrade to iPad Air 2 with 2GB DRAM.

Yep,
basically what he means is that Apple screwed us over with the Ipad Air by only putting 1gb ram in there.
Ios7 had alot of tab reloads and lowmemory safari crashes.
They fixed that by loading tabs after you switch to them but now we got issues with pages staying white.

But I prefer the IOS8 issues over the IOS7 any day.
