iOS 8.1 on iPhone 4s?

Been using it for a while.. Everything seems smoother.. a lott smoother for me on 4s. No such lag found.
The landscape mode bug which caused status bar to disappear hasnt been fixed. Rest is working fine till now.

How's yours?

Upgrading now. Will post results later tonight. I ran the betas and they were pretty decent.

Reduced motion on ( since updating to iOS 8.0 )
Increase contrast only has Reduce White Point toggle on.

Compared to 7.1.2 : i think Apple will reach that point of stabilization with 1 or 2 iOS updates. Comparing with iOS 8.0.2 , its faaaaar better.

My 4s is much less laggy since upgrading from 8.0.2 to 8.1. The Camera app is still slower than it was on 7.1 but it's FAR better than 8.0.2 (actually usable now).

Now to see what the battery life is going to be like.

Here's to hoping 8.1 resolves the blue screen crashing that ios8 brought to my iPad Air!

I notice no difference, and I erased my 4S and restored from iCloud.

My 4s is much less laggy since upgrading from 8.0.2 to 8.1. The Camera app is still slower than it was on 7.1 but it's FAR better than 8.0.2 (actually usable now).

Now to see what the battery life is going to be like.

Camera has improved a lot for me.
Finally i can stay with my 4s for 2 or 3 years more
I think 8.3 will make 4s perfect like 7.1.2 .

Thanks for the information. My parents have the 4S and have been holding off on upgrading to iOS 8. It sounds like it may be worthwhile, now.

If you like the performance of it, it is highly unlikely iOS 8 will be as smooth. Wait for 8.2 or never update beyond 7.1.2

I don't notice any difference from ios 8.0, it's still slow and choppy.
I wish I never updated and stayed on 7.1.2
