iOS 8.1 Safari Keyboard Freeze Still?

In iOS 8 there is an infuriating bug where the keyboard will freeze in safari and you have to force quite it. Then you have to tap the safari icon several times for it to open. This has happened three times pn my ipad and numerous times on my iPhone 6 (just happened 4 times in a row).

iOS 8.1 didn't fix it. I just want to know if others are still having this issue so I know if I should do a restore.

Oh, I'm just using the default keyboard. I never installed any third party.

I am having this issue as well. Safari is completely unusable for me.

It hasn't froze since the iOS 8.1.1 update. Perhaps that's a good sign.

Yes, the latest OS did button up some nagging bugs like that.

I have the issue also. Seems to be random but it does happen. Safari is still pretty buggy for me after 8.1. Reloads for no apparent reason, issues with the whole page turning white on various websites, keyboard dropping away after typing one letter on Google.com 100% of the time, bookmarks tab not closing after clicking a link, and just straight up crashing here and there. Safari used to work very well for me in ios 7. Now it's a pile of dookie. Funny thing is it works mostly fine on my iPhone 6, but not so much on my iPad mini.
