This problem is fixed in untether 0.4

Hi

After i jailbroken my iPad 4 gen. i get this scrolling lag in safari.

see video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7iyrSRv9W1E

I did a DFU restore from ipsw before i jailbroke my iPad.

i tried restoring the 8.1 update again, and the problem is gone.

So in short words...

new DFU restore 8.1 = no problems
jailbroken = lag

am i the only one with this problem?

its not the only site that does this problem

Thats the problem its completely clean. New DFU restore.

With JB the problem appears, and without it works perfect. I got a couple of pages that does this problem, again only on JB device.

Edit: Another site that does this problem is www.hackaday.com on JB device

There are issues w the jailbreak and Safari and they are trying to figure things out.

Also try any of this to see if it helps:

Important:
Note: before installing updates to this package (which will require a reboot), if, after the first time you ran Cydia on this device, you used the iTunes "restore from backup" feature (or otherwise used iTunes or iCloud to put old data back on you device), please now reinstall Cydia Installer (by going to that package and tapping Modify, Reinstall, and Confirm) to make sure your device can safely reboot with a passcode enabled.
See if that helps reinstalling cydia installed or JB after you synced your backup.
What I did is restored to 8.1, then restored my backup on the phone and then did the JB.
Not sure if doing the steps different will help but worth a shot.

To have no safari lag on 32bit devices you must use pangu .2 untether. .3 causes the lag.

When i try to run the pangu v1.0.1 it forces me to update

I was mistaken. You can 1.1.0

When you open Cydia it will ask you to update to .3. Just ignore it.

Shouldn't have safari issues with .2.

I don't know what else to do.

ok no problem :)

someone just wrote this on another site about this problem.

"It's a known bug with the jailbreak. As far as I know there's no fix as of yet. Unfortunately"
