Ok this is something I have been noticing and maybe it's just me. But it's annoying. When I search for something via safari (Google default). I get my search results but I only get 2 pages of results. I scroll down and hit next page. Then If I want to keep seeing more results I scroll down and it says page 2 but that's it. I can't advance to a page 3 or 4 ect. Example. I searched Apple iPhone. Google only returned 2 pages of results. Is this some setting I don't have set right or is this a bug or just user error. Pics attached.

Hi, mine has the same page 2 button at the bottom, but with arrows on either side. Maybe try clicking on the blank space on the right side of the button?

Thanks for the quick reply. Wonder why mine don't show up like that. If I click on where the arrow should be it does move past page 2. So thanks for the pic. It works just isn't showing the image correctly.

Maybe there are only two pages of results?

So phone was acting a bit funny today so chatted with apple and they didn't want to address this particular issue. That being said I did perform a restore and then set up as a new phone with out putting any of my data back. Result was the same in safari not sure if this is something wrong on my particular phone or its a GUI issue with the iPhone 6 plus. Anyone with a plus want to try and see what your results are?

First, what was your phone doing?

Phone has been crashing multiple times. Random reboots. But curious if anyone has the safari search issues from the original post.

Tried google search on 5s; used term IOS 8 hints. Got multiple pages as expected. Maybe it's a 6+ issue.

Ty. Yah want to see if anyone with the 6+ has the issue. Appreciate the reply

Keep us posted, hopefully an update will resolve this. I expect Apple is pushing hard to resolve as much as it can in the shortest time possible.

Yah this is more cosmetic in nature but seems to be eating all the Memory on my phone. Hence the crashing. Idk if it's my phone or something in my data when I restore corrupts it.

So just thought I would update. I know this isn't a huge issue but thought I would do some more research. I have been having some hardware issues with my ip6+ so made a genius appt today and they did find something wrong with my phone. Phone was swapped out for a new one. I looked at 2 demo ip6+ and the genius had a 6 plus. All did the same thing while performing a search in safari using Google. He chuckled and said. Great now we will be flooded with people wanting a new phone cause of this. Was funny. Just thought I would post in case anyone was searching or curious.

Brand new iPhone 6plus user. Used my upgrade to come from Note 2. Same exact issues. Today, major crashing. Only 2 pages in search results no matter which browser I use. People have been reporting crashes for quite some time, I thought I had gotten lucky and had avoided that issue. No such luck. How long before Apple fixes issues?

Just tried this on my 6+ (64gb AT&T, 8.1.1) and had the same results; no visible way of proceeding beyond page 2. If you click in the "blank" area to the right of Page 2 it takes you to page 3.

btw: this also applies to all pages beyond "Page 2" also.

Nice catch ;)

Ok so get this. I set my default search engine to Bing instead and I got over 10 pages of results (I stopped hitting next after page 10-14) on my iPhone 6 plus with page numbers on the bottom.

It must be a Google search thing.

Well, we now know that Microsoft knows how to code a webpage so it works properly. Maybe Google will take a few lessons, not to be a conspiracy theorist...

I didn't notice it on my 6 but I've had a 6 Plus for a few days now and it only goes to page 2. You can press where the arrow should be and it will keep going though so it's a GUI/scaling issue. It happens in Chrome too.

There are several Google threads about it which is where I found out you could just press where the button should be so they're aware of it. Since it occurs in chrome too I'll bet they work a fix for it.

I have a 6+ and my "Page 2" goes all the way across the screen so it's impossible for me to click to the right/left it where the navigation arrows would normally be. I've even tried changing the screen from "zoom" to "normal" to see if that changed anything and it didn't. Looks like I'll be making an appt at the Genius Bar because my phone keeps "locking" as well. I'm getting tired of having to force quit and relaunch apps to get them to work! I've already restored the phone TWICE in 10 days!!! Once from a backup and once I set up from scratch and neither has helped. Starting to lose confidence in Apple...

I'm having the same issue on my 6+. I thought I was loosing my mind. What the heck is going on here?

I'm having the same problem. I only see two pages of results. Apple please address!

Same here, I get the 'page 2' thing on my 6+.

Switch your search engine to Bing. Only Google displays this fault.

Here's an image of the full width "Page 2" button that doesn't allow for proceeding past page 2. Also an iPhone 6+

It still works with the full width button. If you press just above the green "L" in google it will go to the next page! My picture is proof.
