iOS 8.3 Message app using Swype issue. Anyone else?

Ive noticed while using swype, sometimes when I enter a text messaging or imessaging thread and begin typing or swyping, the text doesnt appear in the box but appears to be registering judging from the autocorrect choices. I need to back out of the thread and re-enter for the text to finally appear.

is this an iOS issue or something that has long been an issue with swype? i was using swiftkey for awhile and never recall the issue.

I've also had the same problem under 8.3 so I went back to SwiftKey. I am testing Swype now under 8.4 so see if it is the same.

I happened once yesterday evening . Back to using SwiftKey for the time being.

It's not that bad it happens less than than I thought at first.

This is happening for me as well.

instead of backing out of the thread and going back into it, if you tap the reply field or one of the predicted words, it starts working again.

on a side note, i also noticed that it sometimes puts me in the middle of convo and i have to scroll down again.
