My dad upgraded my mom's iPad to iOS 8.2 recently. He got her this iPad for Christmas last year and it was the top model available at that time. Since the upgrade which poor mom is calling a downgrade they are experiencing a significant slowdown in Internet access and the keyboard obscures the edit box for typing emails on the AOL email site. They had no such issues with iOS 7 and nothing else has changed other than doing this upgrade.

I took a look for myself yesterday and was mystified when it came to the keyboard obscuring the edit box for email. Typing in the fields to address and title the email was fine but then once you go down into the body of it, the keyboard is taking up half the screen and almost completely covering where you would type your email body so you cannot see what you are doing. There was no way to scroll it up that I could tell.

Anyone have any ideas about how I could help them fix this? While I own an iPhone still running iOS 7 and a iMac, I do not own an iPad. I'm at a loss here. It's a shame they can't just go back to iOS 7. They were happy with that and had no issues. I am also mystified by the slow internet speed. It took quite a long time to get online with the thing.

I'd be grateful for any help with this. Thanks.
