iOS 8 and iCloud Photo Library GIF issues

Has anyone turned on iCloud Photo Library only to find out any of your gifs are now just basic still pictures? I've tried with numerous gifs that originally worked before I turned iCloud on. Now my gifs are motionless. I hope this is just an oversight at apple and a fix for that will be coming.
