Those of you who are on iOS 8 and have Spotify, does the app immediately crash for you? When I launch it, the logo is displayed for about 5-10 seconds, then the app just crashes. I deleted and re-installed the app, but it still crashes for me.

I have Spotify on my iPad rMini which is still on iOS 7, and it works perfectly.

It's been working flawlessly for me and that includes hooking it up to my car and with Ford SYNC.

Randomly it will stop playing on my iPhone 6. Not very often though.

It also has an issue with downloaded music. There are albums I had already set to be available offline, but when I go to some of them they don't show up if I don't have a good signal and the toggle for "available offline" is off. When I get a good signal, the songs show up but the toggle is still off. I toggle it on and it switches back to off. Basically for half of my downloaded collection, I can't listen to it when I have no signal. The feature is rendered useless.

Since the last update it has stopped playing a couple of times on me too. Very weird.

That, I can deal with easily enough. It's the offline music bug that's really annoying. What good is an offline song that won't play while offline? :D

I'm a recent convert to Spotify and haven't tried offline music yet, so I can't speak to that. But I can certainly understand the frustration!

I had the same issue with Spotify. I found a solution online that solved the issue. Go into settings for Language and Region and change language to UK English and region to UK. Open Spotify (it might not open properly). Change region back to US and language English, and it should be fixed.

That didn't fix it for me, but thanks for trying.

Actually SPotify works much better for me on iOS 8. It used to be that if I had SPotify open and on Bluetooth in my car I wasn't able to use any of Siri's functions. (Strange, right?) Now that bug is gone. Makes driving a lot easier, not fumbling to close Spotify so I can ask Siri directions

Anyone else used to have this issue?

I STILL have an issue using Fireworks with Spotify. If Spotify is on in the background, Fireworks won't let you select anything. So frustrating!

Though I also have this issue when Chrome is open, so it may be more of a Fireworks issue than Spotify, but still...

That's actually the #1 reason I'm thinking of switching to Pixelator.

The spotify app is generally just a bit ****.

It always has trouble connecting when you first open it. It pauses a lot too.

That's on my iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and iPad 4th gen. Tbh I think it's just a bad app, I wouldn't blame the device.
