Is anyone else having problems since iOS 8 with the proximity sensor of the iPhone?
Both my iPhone 5S and my iPhone 6 sometimes suddenly switch on the screen while I'm in a call which results in my face doing touch inputs like turning on the speaker etc.
Also sometimes touch gets disabled completely when I hold something in front of the sensor, when I'm not in a call. This is particularly annoying, when I'm using the phone in landscape mode and my hand sits over the left and right side. Only a restart of the phone fixes this for me.

Not had that problem with the screen turning on during calls but I have had the touch get disabled while holding the phone landscape (I'm assuming that I was covering the sensor)
Saying that its not happened since 8.0.2
