After I upgraded to IOS8 on my iPhone 5 I was not able to use my phone with my car.
Although it showed being paired there was no sound and phone kept dialing the last number.
I received my iPhone 6 Plus and same issue continues.
HAs anyone found a solution?

Issue has been resolved in iOS 8.1 according to the release notes.

Has anyone tried this yet?

I am semi-holding off upgrading because I use the bluetooth calling in my car regularly and it is a killer feature for me.

Car is a 2010 Mercedes E Class (UK model) - be good to hear the views of other MB owners as well as owners of other cars. It has worked seamlessley with every iPhone since I took delivery of the car, from my iPhone 4 all the way up to the 5S running IOS 7.1.1 - I don't want IOS 8 to break that!.

Wish I could verify for you but it was working with my car the entire time. I never had the problem prior to the upgrade.

Yes, I'm on 8.1 with my iphone 5 and do not have any bluetooth issues with my VW Touareg.

Thanks for confirming. Be good to hear from any Mercedes owners out there as some cars can be funny how they work.
