Anyone can recommend a reliable apps that will give me clear and trustworthy fires for the battery status in my iOS operated devices (iPhone 5, iPod Touch/5g, iPad Air, iPad Mini, iPad 4)? None are JB, all updated to iOS 8.0.2.
Today I have had a rather interesting experience, while using that iBackUPBot apps.
My iPad Air is over 12 months old. I don't use it for very long durations and I make sure to recharge it when it shows 15% or less. So on the average I charge it once a week, or maybe once in 5-6 days' time.
Today, it needed re-charging. Before charging, I ran an analysis with the Apps iBackUpBot. It gave me the the cycle count as "16". I immediately thought this figure must be phoney. I wouldn't suspect if it showed 50-60 or so. Anyway, I fully charged the iPad Air and guess what it revealed as new cycle count: "13" (thirteen)!!!
Am I making a mistake in interpreting the readings? Or is this Apps (iBackUpBot) totally/partluy unreliable?
As a second example I have the iPad4. I purchased that one in very mint but used conditions. The previous user was a staff of the APR. But obviously that iPad4 must have been used for some time and definitely saw some 10-20 chargings before me. Well, I charged it two maybe three (and fully) and the iBackUpBot shows now "1" as cycle count.
However, on the other hand, the same Apps revealed 240 cycle counts for my iPhone 5. I again got suspicious, bcz. I charge it nearly daily (and for the last 10 months using it with a Mophie: I let the phone drain up its internal battery first down to 20-25% and charge the iP5 from Mophie, then charge Mophie during the evenings...). I took it to the Applestore and measured in "their system". The cycle count showed 250-260. So in my iPhone5 case iBackUpBot proved to be fairly realistic.
Anybody with more profound experience, kindly assist!...
Thanks and greetings from Turkey.
