iOS 8 GM - Music app draining huge amount of energy

Is anybody also having issues with Music app on iOS 8 GM? Let me explain..

Two days ago, yet on iOS 7.1.2, I was coming back home from my work place which usually takes me 45 minutes. All this time I've been listening to music.

• The moment I depart my workplace: 5%
• Arrival at home: 2%

I've updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 8 GM the day before yesterday and now my battery is literally melting under Music app. Here are the results from my today's journey from home to workplace:

• The moment I depart home: 95%
• Arrival at workplace: 75%

Wow! It's just too bad for me - I use my iPhone mostly as an iPod. I seriously consider switching to some other app now.

Maybe anybody's got any suggestions?

PS.: After updating to iOS 8 GM I've deleted all the music from iPhone and then synced it with iTunes.

PS2.: No, my battery is not old. I've bought this iPhone new this January.
