how is it?
can anyone tell about the lag/performance compared to 7.1.2 and also compared to beta 5

is it worth to install ios 8 or wait for 8.1 on ipad 4?

go for it. Just make sure to save your ios7 backup somewhere so you can return to it if you don't like it. (before the public release comes out) This is the best way to see how it works with YOUR setup

Im using the GM on my 4. works fine minus sms relay which isn't working (receives, no sending)

If you turn on increase contrast, everything is buttery smooth but you get that ugly ass dock and black NC.

Yep, and the keyboard taps don't register a color change with increase contrast on. Try that one out, haha. Further proof that whatever blurring they're using just can't be smooth on any iPad.
