Anybody else notice lag when you open apps on the home screen? There is a hesitation that wasn't there on 7.1.2. Right after you touch an icon there is like almost a half second lag till it shoots the app open. Also after launching the App Store it takes longer to load everything in it. Any body else noticing little hiccups in the animations here and there too? I'm sticking with 7.1.2 on my i5 I think! Is there a way to downgrade my iPad 4 back to 7.1.2?

You can still roll back (right now, anyway, but Apple could change that at any time) - google to find out how (I'm at work and don't have the links on me).
I'm seeing a very small amount of lag on my ipad 4, but only in certain apps. Had much more on my 5th gen ipod touch, rolled that back last night.
I have not noticed any degradation in performance between 7.1.2 and 8.0 on my 4th gen iPad. Any slight lag is the same as it was in 7.1.2 for me.
