Let's hope that with so many new API's the great guys behind the Jailbreak community can hack it around :)

I hope so. I want to get back into apple devices late this year but I will inevitably envy some of my android device's functions. Jailbreak has always solved that issue.

I don't see an end to jail breaking anytime soon, money always drives devs to jailbreak,

iOS 8, and iOS 7.1.1 are most likely VERY similar exploit wise, so it is important that exploits are not burned, so that we can have an iOS 8 jailbreak as soon as possible.

I can't wait to see the same generic people saying you no longer need to jailbreak anymore that have been around since iOS 2.

It is confirmed that iOS 8 beta 1 doesn't fix the exploits i0n1c used for Cyberelevat0r, just a change of code, he is sure that the jailbreak will still work. However, it has to be cleared out whether Cydia would even run on iOS 8 at all.. But saurik will probably manage to let it run after some research, just like he did with iOS 7. Fingers crossed. :D

Getting Cydia to run isn't an issue compared to the exploit/JB process.

Well, then we're all lucky I guess, as the exploits are confirmed to still be there ;) I just hope they won't be too impatient: if it's going to be a battle again of 'who releases the JB first' and someone releases their JB before the final version of iOS 8, Apple will patch it in a simple update, and that would be a total waste.

the devs are already bickering over it, and i have a bad feeling i0nic is going to screw it up. he has talked about selling it, and he also works for apple if I'm not mistaken. ih8sn0w seems to be slowly leaving the jailbreak scene, and winocm seems like she would be our best chance of getting a jailbreak besides the evasi0n team.

Apple knows about the exploits. They're not gonna bother closing them in a first beta release :p

Apple doesn't know about the exploits relating to 7.1.1, ect.

There are exploits which can work on 7.1.1 and iOS 8 Beta 1, but they could still be closed, although this is rare since it's like Apple is looking for a needle in a haystack.

Yes, they do. I would know

CyberElevat0r?

I think the ones that jb still will cuz we know we can go back to stock if necessary. With iOS 8 and touch id it'll be interesting to see what tweaks are created. I'm looking forward to it.

CyberElevat0r?
That's how i0n1c calls his (not yet publicly released) 7.1.1 jailbreak that he showed working on his iPhone 5C. You can look for a video on YouTube. But don't fall for the scam JB tool that's called the same way, it's not a real jailbreak but installs a fake cydia and some survey crap. The real JB is not yet released as it's indeed a private jailbreak.

...and most likely never to be released by i0n1c and without a doubt he will issue his exploit findings to Apple and ca$h in...!

Well this kind of comments could exactly be the reason why he wouldn't release it. But I know what you mean, I admit he is indeed a strange person when it comes to JB: sometimes he is let's say an icon to the jailbreak community and sometimes it looks like he is just looking for any possible way to make extra cash. But we better just think about things like this, if we want a public release. I really hope he will and I have faith in him. :)
