I'd try deleting Twitter form your 5S, shut down completely, then after a bit, turn your phone back on and reinstall the app. I've had no problems with Twitter, but I did a clean install and did not restore from a back up.

Click to expand... I had to delete it to install ios8, it was taking 1GB of space! So it's a brand new twitter install

Click to expand... I had to delete it to install ios8, it was taking 1GB of space! So it's a brand new twitter install
