Given the high probability that the next generation iPhone will have a larger display, how do you think iOS 8 will be optimized to accommodate the larger screen real estate or will it simply be a blown-up version of how it already looks on the iPhone 5/5S/5C display?

The home screen will be like it is on ipads, blown up, for the rest, we will have more space.

That would be lame.. The icons are already to big.. They should add another row and colum.

For consistency I think they will just blow up the current home screen, but the icons will remain the same size and more of the wallpaper will be visible.
Has anyone been able to run the iOS Simulator at 1334x750 or any other higher resolution that it may be?

the screen looks pretty good spaced like that.

I've thought about question as well. It's quite interesting as even though we've had a resolution change (iPhone 4) and screen size change (iPhone 5), never have wee seen the size of icons and touch targets change. I wonder if they'll simply blow everything up (just how iPad mini and iPad Air are), or if they'll take more advantage of screen real estate.

I think going beyond 4x5 icons on the home screen will look too cluttered though. Spacing them out a bit would look good.
