I backup photos before trip. It shows location of where photos were taken. If I back up and then delete all the photos > sort it > remove dups > put photos back to iphone or ipad.... will it show location of where the photos were taken?

Yes. The location data is stored within the photo file. The only way to get rid of it is through third party programs.
