For those that have used iOS 6, the Photos app had a places tab where I can tap it and it'll show all of my geotagged images on a map. In iOS 7, the updated Photos app removed the places tab. I'm wondering if Apple added the ability to view all of my geotagged images back in iOS 8? Can someone please confirm this for me?

Thanks!

In IOS 7 you can... In the photo app under the Photos tab, under "Years" click on either the year(left side) or place(right side) and it will take you to a map, the same applies for "Collections" but instead it's place(left side) and date (right side)... Might be the same for IOS 8

Yes, tap on the location at the collections. You can only view all the photos on a map for one year though. So all the photos for 2012, 2013 and 2014 are seperate.

That's still not as good as the "Places" feature as every single geotagged photos are shown on a map.

It's an improvement that would have been welcome if they didn't take out the full places tab.

Do you know how we can make either a feature request or petition Apple to implement that feature again?
