The predictive keyboard that Apple introduced with iOS 8 is horrible. Apple claims that it can guess what you are going to type based on previous conversations. I've reset my keyboard and reset my phone, and not once has it guessed properly what I was about to type. Major room for improvement Here. SwiftKey does a better job of predicting what I was going to type.

It LEARNS how you type..If you keep resetting it, you'll reset any progress it has made.

After several weeks, my iPhone 6 has gotten very good at predicting what I'm about to type - even if different scenarios (how I speak to my wife vs. how I speak when texting one of my friends or my parents).

Ditto, Im almost mystified at how well it predicts.

I should clarify, I reset it when I updated to iOS 8 to curb any issues.

I suspect that "not once" is a vast exaggeration. It never even predicted the next "the" or "a"? Not ONCE?

Where do you live? It's pretty accurate for me.
