What if you're 15 hours ahead of Apple time? Will it be released the next day? :(

I'll be doing it at night due to work, my son's football game, and you heathens hammering the servers.

After the absolute cluster**** that was the iOS7 release I will most likely wait until Thursday before I update. I still remember trying to update last time.... Took me hours....

I remember last year, the minute IOS 7 came out, I had to wait until the next day to update my iPhone due to server overload.

Of course. Apple won't release it early for those that far ahead of their time zone. It's not like you are actually waiting 15 hours longer than the rest of us.

But that's what it feels like when the whole internet says September 17, and that date is almost over! :p:p:p

Well I guess there has to be somewhere in the world where the update goes live at the end of the day (their time).

Apple is based in the PDT time zone and the 10:00AM launch there is probably because they will have Apple staff and engineers on hand and ready for when the floodgates open to deal with whatever problems come up during the day. I wouldn't be surprised if Apple already has an army of employees up in the wee hours of the morning getting ready for this launch.

do you have the release time for Asia? it may be released at the same time of the next day>
