iOS 8.x and Mac OS X 10.6.8?

Hello,

My wife's 2009 Macbook still runs on 10.6.8, and it works really well. We don't want to upgrade it.

Her iPad Mini is still on iOS 6, but now a couple of apps require iOS 7+.

If we upgrade the iPad to iOS 8, will it still be able to sync with Mac 10.6.8? (Most important syncs: photos, music, calendar)

Yes. My MBP is on 10.6.8, and I synced my iPhone 5S iOS 8.3 without trouble
