How do I stop my iPad from having a 1 red circle icon to the right of settings reminding me of iOS 9.1 update ? I don't want to update right now for crying out loud!
 
Your stuck with it unless you upgrade. I've been looking at that circle for two years on an iPad 2 that's stilling running 7.1.2.

Sorry - out of luck. Cannot remove those from settings app.
