Hi, I tried searching and did not find any answers so I am wondering if this happened to anyone else or if there is any type of solutions.
My brother has an iPhone 5s that has iOS 9.2.1 and it was acting odd today as when he was on iMessage the phone starting vibrating and making an unusual noise through the speaker. After he closed iMessage and reopened that went away.
I don't know if this is related or not but he went to his notes app shortly after and all have been erased. He told me he did use the notes earlier in the day and they were there. The notes were supposed to be backed-up to iCloud but we could not find them on iCloud.com. Tried restarting the phone with no luck and I don't think he has a real recent back-up on his computer.
He did not jailbreak or anything like that. The iOS update was installed within a few days of its release.
If this has happened to anyone else or if anyone has suggestions on what could be done to possibly fix this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time!
