Yesterday afternoon when I came from work, I wanted to hear my Podcast episodes and also listen to some feeds from Scanner Radio app.
All did not work...No sound, nothing. I was able to browse the web at some point.
Also, last night when I tried to update my phone to 9.3, it said Verifying update, looks like your not connected to the Internet. Tried many many times. Still no luck installing.
I actually was, I even reset my router as well.
Now, here is the mystery part. Before updating my phone to iOS 9.3, I noticed something very odd and strange that was NEVER EVER even there. Under Settings, I noticed that there is a Personal Hotspot row added and it is greyed out...So, my suspicion, is somehow I have a gut feeling that my network settings are corrupted just because of that. I tried everything even Reset Network Settings. That did not help.
Now, I managed to update my phone to iOS 9.3 at the crack of dawn due to less traffic and that was finally done. After that, I managed to master reset my phone and the Personal Hotspot was removed from Settings.
Then, as soon as I went to the app store and installed Scanner Radio again, that Personal Hotspot was there again.
And there is no option to remove it except doing a reset of the phone.
I just noticed this last night...
Do all of you have this Personal Hotspot under Settings added in there and greyed out???
[doublepost=1458711168][/doublepost]Problem Solved....
I noticed after resetting my phone numerous times already, this stupid popup came up the first time which I never even saw before to ALLOW Explicit Content or not...Of course, I selected Do Not Allow instead of Allow...
After doing another reset....the popup appeared again and then I selected to ALLOW Explicit content this time.
Now everything works OK now.
By the way, I just curious now as to what the carrier update to add the Personal Hotspot will do to my connection now.
Maybe that was not the issue from the beginning.
