There might be another thread about this somewhere else, but I couldn't locate one. I even tried searching, before someone asks.

Ever since updating to iOS 9.3.1, my iPhone 6S loses the Internet connection when I leave the room that my AirPort Extreme is in. It shows that it's connected to the router but that there isn't any internet. I have to turn the wifi off and then back on to correct.

Anyone know how to fix this? I don't seem to remember the 9.3 version doing this.

Have you tried resettings network settings?

Thank you thank you thank you.
I have had this bug for every iteration of iOS 9!!! It is infuriating. Never showed up with iOS 8. I'm constantly resetting my network settings. I have found that if I sync my phone, this problem (along with mail fetching issues and notification delays) rears its ugly head in 24-48 hours without fail!
It happens specifically with my iPhone 6. I have a MacBook pro that is fine and an iPad that I never sync so not sure how that would fare, but I haven't seen this issue with it.

I have a netgear d6200 or something, which wasn't cheap and works fine when tested on other devices.

Any fixes would be very welcome. I've tried literally everything including having phone swapped and starting fresh

I reset my network settings, so we'll see if it continues to happen tonight.

Yeah resetting network settings fixes the problem until you sync your phone again, that's my experience. Not sure if you have photo stream on but that's another thing that gets scrambled if I sync. The images don't auto sync and if they do I often get duplicates. If yours don't sync, reset network before trying manual photo sync or you'll get duplicates in the photos app on your phone.

While resetting is a 'fix', it's only a fix until your next sync. After each sync I have to reset, set up any networks, and then tell my Mac to trust my phone again. It's not the end of the world but it's extremely annoying that a fundamental part of the phone like syncing causes these issues. To me, it's just another recent example of Apple software quality taking steps in the wrong direction.

Interested to hear if this problem pops back up if you sync
