So this is the sister site to TA, seemed like the best place to ask. What will app thinning do to apps already installed on your device? Will you have to reinstall them to have the new changes?

So this is the sister site to TA, seemed like the best place to ask. What will app thinning do to apps already installed on your device? Will you have to reinstall them to have the new changes?

App thinning has to be supported by the app, it's not a system-level feature. I assume it would be done during the app update, but can't say for sure.
