iOS 9 on iPad-3 No Side by Side !

Hi Guys,

I am on iPad-3 I just upgraded to iOS 9 I can't seem to get the new multi tasking feature in iOS 9 working I know the split view is only available for the iPad Air 2 but atleast the side by side and picture in picture should work on my iPad-3 but even that doesn't seem to be working or rather I can't figure how to get it working any help will be appreciated ! A small tutorial !

Sorry, I am pretty sure it's Air and Mini 2 or newer for both pip and slide out

I don't think it's available for the iPad 3. From Apple's site:
http://www.apple.com/ios/whats-new/

1. Picture in Picture and Slide Over are available on iPad Pro, iPad Air or later, and iPad mini 2 or later. Split View is available on iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, and iPad mini 4.

You can check Settings -> General and check for a Multitasking category in the second section.

There is no mention of anything called Multitasking in Setting>General there is just Gestures mentioned there !

Your questions has been answer. Unfortunately like I and other posters have said the iPad 3 is not getting any form of multi app multitasking. Same goes for the iPad 4.
