IIRC, one of the things that iOS 7 brought was the new habit of spewing a lot of log entries after a sync.

There was one in particular whose name I don't remember, but Apple finally stopped the behavior in a subsequent point update.

iOS 8 was pretty low key after that.

Now, in iOS 9, WiFiManager and ondemandd are dropping logs every time. A lot of them in the case of the former.

Looking them over, it seems they're just status, not error, logs that don't indicate anything other than normal function.

Anyone else notice?

for ios 7 i think u mean the JetsamEvent, WiFiManager and ondemandd i never even heard of before, let alone ever had since i started using apple (device progress in sig)

with ios 9 i have very low amount of logs, lower than ever before, means things are working smoothly. the most absurd log i ever got, when i had my iphone 5 with a failing battery, was a low battery log with "partial charge: 0" "capacity: 100"
