iOS 9 update and iBooks?

Ever since iOS 9.3, I am unable to swipe pages within my pdf docs downward but instead I have to swipe sideways to from one page to the next and it's annoying...

How can I turn the pdf pages to have me swiping downward?

I am using iBooks
